Blogsvertise

Blogsvertise is another blog advertising service I've been looking into the past few days.

I'm registered with three other paid blogging networks that have their bloggers visit the blog advertising websites everyday and select from a pool of advertisers to write about. Blogsvertise is different in that you don't have to click on their website all day every day just to find an advertiser you are interested in. Instead, your blog(s) are inserted into the assignment queue where you will then be emailed tasks/new assignments to blog about. You may respond to task offers by either accepting or declining them.

After your blog entry is complete, you submit your entry back to Blogsvertise for review and approval. Once approved you will be paid after 30 days for your blog entry via Paypal.

Oh, I guess you'd like to know how much money you'll make. The current payout rate for new accounts is $4 - 25 per entry. Most will fall into the $5 - 15 range. However, payout rates will vary and are frequently based on popularity/traffic of blog as measured by independent third parties. If PR and Alexa are these third parties then I know already what my pay rate will be, hehe. That's okay though, I don't mind starting at the bottom and working my way up. Spinning 2

I like this method of doing business. Hopefully my blog will be approved and I'll be able to get started blogging for Blogsvertise soon.

Anna... I was looking at

Anna... I was looking at Blogsvertise and I couldn't find the answer. If you receive an offer or task, can you reject it?

yes, you can...

Click on "Task Management" from the overhead navbar... then select "All" in the dropdown box... (you could select "waiting for entry" but I just select "all"...)

Then check the one you want to decline and click "decline"... you will be asked the reason you declined...

Hope this helps... :)

oh wait... do you get credit

oh wait... do you get credit when you refer someone? if so, what should i do so you get credit when i sign up?

I don't know...

It is on my list of things to do to check and see if Blogsvertise has an affiliate program but I haven't gotten that far myself... dang, maybe I'll jump on over there and look... I thought you were already signed up, that's why I gave detailed instructions for declining a task. I could have just said "yeah", hehe...

Edit: I just looked... I don't see an affiliate program... thank you for the thought... :)

thanks!

thanks!

Your Alexa ranking has gone

Your Alexa ranking has gone way up! I mean down... umm... you know what I mean :P. You're definitely on your way to raking those bigger pay-outs :).

Crazy, isn't it?

The 3 things I have done are: registered my information with Alexa, installed the Firefox extension (mainly to help other bloggers when I visit their sites) and put the widget on my page...

I'm running an experiment on a site that I haven't updated in 3 months where my traffic has dwindled to less than 100 hits per day... I registered the site with Alexa and put the widget on it and I'm monitoring it to see if I see any results... so far the Alexa ranking has gone up! hehe

I'll publish the results after a week or two...

Anna, I would be interested

Anna,

I would be interested in knowing how you would compare Blogvertise and PPP when you've had enough experience between the two to say. :-)

I'll be sure to blog about

I'll be sure to blog about it when I get approved by both Blogvertise and PPP... I *think* my blog finally qualifies for PPP... I've gone over PPP's blog requirements and TOS with a fine tooth comb so unless I'm reading something wrong I will get an approval within the next few days... some of the wording in PPP's TOS is confusing to me... they seem to have a problem with saying what they mean... heh

Hard to say, but PPP

Hard to say, but PPP accepted my blog pretty easily. The only thing that I needed to do was to add an archives [link] page. A wordpress plugin made that super easy. I hope that it's not too difficult for you.

The draw back is that mine is not a popular blog. lol oh well, cheap offers are better than no offers at all.

Enjoy and good luck. ;D

I might not have enough

I might not have enough content yet... we'll see...

So why do people have to register to leave comments on your blog? Have you been getting a lot of spam?

I also beta tested LoTR and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes so we have a few things in common besides blogging... :)
