I've been accepted by Loudlaunch
I've recently been approved to be an independent reviewer by Loudlaunch. Loudlaunch is a network "designed to help advertisers to spread the word, create a buzz, publicize events, promote products, offer recognition, champion causes, disseminate information, or even just make a statement."
Independent reviewers (bloggers such as myself) can then select campaigns that align with their blog and issue a Micro Press Release (post on their blog) based on the requirements of the advertisers’ campaign. The pay for bloggers is commensurate with the age of the blog along with other factors such as traffic and various page rankings. Suffice to say, I'm on the low end of the pay scale but hopefully that will change in the near future. To be totally honest I was surprised to be accepted since my blog is so new. I'm glad I was accepted though, because so far I really like their service.
I've heard that you almost need to be a rocket surgeon to be a "paid blogger" for some of the other paid-to-blog services, for example PayPerPost. I won't say quite yet why I think PPP is confusing because maybe I'd understand it better if I were actually one of their paid bloggers. My blog definitely doesn't qualify for PPP yet but when it does I'll sign up with them and will then be able to give my opinions first hand.
Bloggers are paid via Paypal within 5 days of the 1st of each month for all approved posts placed between the 1st and 20th of the prior month. Sometimes I wish I were a rocket surgeon because I scratch my head when I look at the pay schedule and wonder if I'm missing something. If I'm to be paid for posts made between the 1st and 20th of the prior month, when am I to be paid for posts made between the 21st and the end of the month? Maybe I'd better get my husband to help me figure that out, hehe. He's no brain scientist but he does work in the medical profession and has a very analytical mind.
I've done two reviews for Loudlaunch so far and I'll have to say I like the way their service is set up. It is very, very simple to choose a campaign to review, write the review, and have your blog entry accepted immediately for payment. If there are other blog ad networks this easy I'd sure like to know about them!
All in all from the blogger's point of view, I'll have to give Loudlaunch a big thumbs up (so far). Being paid on time will be a big qualifying factor so I'm waiting it out to see if I'll indeed be paid on time. If anything changes later on down the road you'd better believe I'll write an addendum to this post.
Happy blogging!
Thanks for the loudlaunch
Thanks for the loudlaunch tip, I'd never even heard of that one before!
Payed blogging
I've been PPP blogger for three months no with my Live Spaces blog (PR3). Because low PR and not own domain, I have not received that good offers.
A week ago I established a new blog, which I hope to do better. Now I have about three months time to search for the most suitable web 2.0 company for payed blogging. It won't have to be PPP anymore, if there are better ones.
Good luck with LoudLaunch!
Hey Anna,
Good Luck with Loudlaunch! My blog has been recently rejected, although they haven't told me why yet, while PPP has accepted my blog fairly quick. And my blog has a GooglePR of 4 and Alexa 0. Oh well, I wish you all the best with it! Have Fun!
Regards,
Ilse
Loudlaunch's acceptance
Loudlaunch's acceptance criteria does seem a bit odd... Bloggers for Dollars (PR0) blog was approved but my PR2 blog wasn't...
I don't have a blog approved with PayPerPost yet but I'm working on meeting their qualifications soon... I like PPP's community... :)
Blog on! :)
Curious to see how it goes
I'm interested in seeing how LL goes for you. So far they have only accepted one of my more low-traffic, PR0 blogs (odd, huh) and I've only used a few of their campaigns since that blog is pretty one-note.
I agree it is odd...
I submitted my PR2 blog the same time I submitted this PR0 blog... the PR2 blog is still pending and the PR0 was accepted...
I'm stumped as to the criteria they go by when approving blogs... truthfully, had I been LL I would have declined both of my blogs... there isn't much content in ether one of them, but since this blog was accepted I may as well run with it, eh? hehe
The only negative thing I see about LL is that there are very few articles to write about... hopefully that will pick up as time goes along because (as long as I get paid) everything else is really cool with Loudlaunch...
I have heard quite a lot of
I have heard quite a lot of bad things about Loudlaunch. When I was given the opportunity to look through there website there was only 5 or 6 different opportunities a blogger could write about.
You heard bad things?
Welcome and thank you for the feedback... :)
What bad things have you heard about Loudlaunch? I'd really appreciate any information you could give me...
ya
my blogs haven't been accepted or rejected by loudlaunch .I submited my blog a couple of months back and both my blogs are pending :@loudlaunch sucks .i would say ppp is the best in blog advertising.
I like Loudlaunch a lot myself...
I wish there were more articles that fit my blog but that's to be expected with a blog that only has a few topics...
Good luck !
Good luck with this new revenue stream !
Thanks... :)
I need all the luck I can muster, hehe...
