Personal Home Loan Mortgages
Have you ever refinanced your mortgage? My husband and I refinanced our mortgage a few years ago. The one thing I didn't like about the process was having to jump through one hoop after another after another. For the life of me I can't figure out why the broker wouldn't (or couldn't) just tell us up front which information we would need to provide in order to complete the loan.
Maybe the problem wasn't really with the broker, because to be honest, I knew very little at that time about mortgages or mortgage refinancing or any of that. I know a little more about the mortgage business now due to the fact that my son is Vice President of the second largest mortgage lender in the United States and my daughter-in-law is a mortgage broker running her own mortgage company. /brag mode off.
Too bad I didn't know about a site such as PersonalHomeLoanMortgages.com when I refinanced a few years ago. At PersonalHomeLoanMortgages.com you can find all the information you need, from finding a broker, interest rates, mortgage calculators, to even applying for a mortgage online with a quick application. There are sections devoted to lenders and realtors also, which I think is funny from the stories my son and daughter-in-law tell me. Often times realtors and lenders do not get along AT all. hehe
One of the things I found while reading about mortgage refinancing are the comparisons between California mortgages and Florida mortgages. I live in Florida and people seem to be moving here in droves, but it seems like Florida has a higher vacancy than California does. I would have thought it would be the other way around for some reason. Not quite sure why I thought that.
