PPP Love
I admit it. Even though there are a few things that perturb me about PayPerPost there are a lot of things I do like about them. For this post I'll concentrate on the positive. :)
This blog was approved by PayPerPost on March 16th of this year and since that time I have completed five opportunities and have been paid $38.01. I knew when I signed up with a PR 0 blog that my opportunities would be somewhat limited, especially with a blog with a narrow niche like "Bloggers for Dollars". (I've expanded my niche a bit since then.) Now that I have a PR3 blog I'm sure that a few more opportunities will open up for me.
Of course I like a little bit of extra cash every now and then, but I'd have to say the thing I like best about PayPerPost is the community of posties and PPP's viral marketing techniques. I don't know of any other pay-to-blog service that has forums for bloggers and advertisers and I think that is one of the things that makes PayPerPost unique among all the others.
Sense of community is not something a company can buy. Either you have it or you don't, and I'd say that PayPerPost definitely has a sense of community.
