Themestock CMS Templates
You Wordpress users probably don't have any idea what I'm talking about since there are literally thousands of pre-made Wordpress themes to select from. But for other Content Management System (CMS) users it is an entirely different story, especially for Drupal users like myself. There are very, very few pre-built themes for Drupal. I know I could take the time to learn how to design CMS themes but this is not the way I want to spend my time.
It has been very disheartening for me to try to find a Drupal theme I can live with (although I am 90% happy with the one I'm using now) and I've been wishing and hoping to find a larger selection to choose from. Today my wish has come true with Themestock.com, a site dedicated to CMS templates. Now I don't want to be selfish and only talk about Drupal because Themestock also offers fresh theme/template downloads of other popular CMS skins also. This is great news for Mambo, Joomla, PhPNuke, Postnuke, Xoops and even you Wordpress users, and that's just to name a few. If you are running an e-commerce and/or online shopping site using a CMS such as OSCommerce, osCMax, CRE Loaded, or Zen Cart you will find theme/template downloads at Themestock for your CMS also.
You can just look at the skins at Themestock and see that they are all very attractive, but what about quality? I checked into quality and found out that all of Themestock's skins/themes are high quality and validated using xhtml 1.0 or html 4.01. And in case you're wondering, new templates are added weekly so the selection is always fresh.
If you're not familiar with the process of changing your theme or template Themestock provides a full tutorial with step-by-step instructions. I'm not going to say something is good if I don't think it is good, and since I'm pretty much an expert on installing Drupal templates I personally checked out the tutorial so I could give you a heads up about their tuturials in general. My thinking is if the Drupal tutorial is good we can assume their other tutorials (for Joomla, Mambo, Xoops, etc.) are good also, and in my expert opinion this is a very thorough tutorial with step-by-step instructions that will make changing your CMS skin as easy as pie.
Themestock members have it all when it comes to CMS theming - attractive quality designs, easy to follow instructions, new items added every week, unlimited downloads, and individual items that can be purchased from the limited edition section. Yep, Themestock has it all.
