I've heard it would happen and yep, today I realized that I have finally turned into my grandmother! I always thought I was future thinking and modern as far as the internet and technology goes but I think this is one of the dumbest websites I've seen in a good while. Somebody has decided to combine the blogging craze and the YouTube craze and start a video blogging site. Okay, maybe it is not such a dumb idea after all because I'm sure there are people out there in cyberspace that are going to think this is just the cat's meow. (Hehe, my grandmother used to say "cat's meow", so that proves my theory that I'm officially old.)

According to the creators, "Viddyou is all about bringing the worlds of video and blogging together for the masses. We welcome you to explore the site and experience the Viddyou difference."

So I explored a little bit and found a video community dedicated to bathroom confessionals. The user name is Inthecan, how apt. Um, okay. Now, I'm really not a prude, honestly I'm not. (Me thinks I doth protest too much! ha!) But a community dedicated to bathroom confessionals? I'm just not interested so I didn't watch the video. Maybe it isn't as bad as I think it would be. Curiosity might get the better of me later but for now I'll just leave that one alone.

I'm sure there are a lot of very nice videos at Viddyou and I might take another look at the site some other time. For now, I think I'll just stick with YouTube.
